Spring like

Wow, spring like weather, it's a balmy 37 this morning. We've seen some sunshine and it was really nice yesterday near 40, Today is supposed to be the same but a little warmer.
The real reason I'm posting...
Found out yesterday my Mother-in-law has cancer again. She had bladder cancer about 8-1/2 years ago, where she had a hysterectomy and her bladder removed a couple weeks before Ryan was born. Never needed radiation or chemotherapy. I guess she had some swelling in her neck and had it checked out. I don't really know all the actual details, because I get information from Doug, usually 3rd party... but from what I understand, it's in her blood, she went for a second opinion and will have those results in a couple days and I guess if he agrees with the first opinion, she will start chemotherapy next week. Then she will have it weekly for 3 weeks and then take 2 weeks off, and do tests and see if they need to go another round.. Like I said, not positive if that's actually what's going on... Doug's sister Sue called him this morning to see if he was doing okay. ( she over- reacts and assumes Doug would just be falling apart ) Doug told her you can only take it one day at a time, he's accepted it because she's had it before, and there's always been that chance and he also told her he's been through all this before, with my Dad. He and my dad were really close, so when he passed, Doug lost a dad too.. Don't get me wrong, he felt really bad when my mom passed, but they weren't' close like he and my dad, although, I'm pretty sure mom liked Doug more than me!! ;-) they did go to NASCAR races together until it was too much for her to go.

*Update: Doug called and his mom said she has a stage 4 carcinoma
